Terms of Service

The deal
By using bckendIQ, you agree to these terms. If you're using it on behalf of a studio, you're saying you have the authority to bind that studio.
What you get
Access to the bckendIQ platform during private beta — free, every feature, no credit card. We aim for high uptime but make no formal SLA guarantee until GA.
What we ask
- Don't use bckendIQ to do anything illegal or to harm anyone.
- Don't try to break our security, reverse-engineer the service, or scrape data you don't own.
- Don't share login credentials. Each person on your team should have their own account.
Your data
You own your data. We hold it on your behalf and don't sell it. See our privacy policy for the full picture. You can export or delete it any time.
Payment (post-beta)
During private beta, the service is free. When we move to paid plans at GA, we'll email you well in advance. Beta studios are grandfathered into a locked rate.
Termination
You can cancel any time. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms. We'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the violation is so severe that immediate suspension is the only option.
Liability
The service is provided "as is" during beta. Our total liability is capped at what you've paid us — which, during beta, is zero. This isn't legal advice; we recommend reading this carefully.
Changes
We'll update these terms occasionally and post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date. Material changes get an email.
