The short answer

Copy one line from bckendIQ and paste it into your website builder's code box for every page. A button then sits in the corner of your site. Tap it, and your contact form opens over the page.

A couple finds your website late at night. They love your films and tap Contact. All they find is an email address. By morning, they have written to other studios too.

How does the website button work?

It is one line of code. You paste it into your website once. From then on, a button sits in the bottom corner of every page.

The button says Check availability, in your studio's colour. You can change the words, and pick the left or right corner.

When a couple taps it, your contact form opens over your page. They never leave your website. It is the same form as your bckendIQ link, with your photo, logo and questions.

On a phone, the form fills the whole screen. That matters. StatCounter's September 2026 figures put phones at 59% of all web visits. So most couples will meet your form on a phone.

If they close it halfway, nothing is lost. Tap the button again and their answers are still there.

Speed counts once they send it. The Knot's 2026 study of 10,474 US couples found 52% say a quick reply builds trust. And 37% wrote to more vendors than they first planned. So the sooner you see a message, the better your chance.

Do I need to get into the back end of my website?

No. You don't need your web host, a developer or any files. You need the login you already use to change your photos and words.

Every big website builder has a box for extra code. It is the same box people use for Google Analytics or a Facebook pixel. If you have added one of those, you can add this.

Most websites are built this way. W3Techs checks more than 20 million websites every day. In October 2026, WordPress ran 39.7% of all of them, Wix 4.2% and Squarespace 2.4%.

One catch. Some builders only take code on paid plans. If yours is on a free plan, skip to the link below. It works on every plan.

Where do I paste the line on my website builder?

First, copy your line. In bckendIQ, open Leads › Pipeline setup › Enquiry form, then your form. Press ⋯, pick Put it on your website, then press Copy code. Paste the whole line, start to end.

Then paste it into the box that runs on every page. Here is where that box lives on each builder.

  • Squarespace. Open the Pages panel, then Custom Code, then Code Injection. Paste the line in Footer and press Save. You need a Core, Plus or Advanced plan.
  • Wix. In your dashboard, open Settings, then Custom Code under Development & integrations. Press Add Custom Code and paste the line. Pick All pages and Body - end, then press Apply. You need a Premium plan with your own domain.
  • WordPress.com. Add the free WPCode plugin. Open Code Snippets › Header & Footer, paste the line in Footer, and press Save Changes. You need a paid plan.
  • WordPress on your own hosting. Use WPCode the same way. Or, with a block theme, open Appearance › Editor › Patterns › Template Parts › Footer. Add a Custom HTML block, paste the line and save. Sign in as an admin.
  • Showit. Open Site Settings, then Integrations, then Add Custom Code. Paste the line and add it to the Site Canvas Sets on every page. Then publish.
  • Pixieset. Open Settings › Advanced and paste the line in Custom Footer Code. You need a Pro Website, Pro Suite or Ultimate Suite plan.
  • Webflow. Open Site settings › Custom code and paste the line in Footer code. Save, then publish. You need a Site plan or a paid Workspace.
  • Shopify. Open Online Store › Themes, press ⋯, then Edit code. Open theme.liquid and paste the line just above the closing body tag. Press Save.
  • Zenfolio and Format. They only have a box for the top of the page, called Custom head. Paste the line there. The button still works.

One warning for Wix. Don't use the Embed HTML box. Wix keeps that box in a small frame, so the button gets stuck inside it.

Paste it once. If the line ends up on a page twice, you still see one button.

What if my website won't take code?

Use your form's link instead. Every website builder lets a button open a web address. Copy your link from the top of your form in bckendIQ.

Add a button that says Check availability, and point it at that link. It opens the same form, and the message lands in the same place.

This is the way on SmugMug, Google Sites and GoDaddy. It is also the way on free Wix and WordPress.com plans, and on Squarespace Basic.

Your link works away from your website too. Put it in your Instagram bio, your email signature or a QR code on a flyer.

How do I check it works?

  1. Open your live website in a private window. Code doesn't run inside the Wix editor, so check the real site.
  2. Look for the button in the bottom corner. Tap it, and your form should open.
  3. Fill it in with your own email address and send it.
  4. Open bckendIQ. Your test shows up as a new person, marked Website. You also get an email about it.
  5. Check your inbox. You get the thank you email a couple would get, with your answers read back.

No button? Check three things. Your form must be published, not a draft. The line must sit in the box for every page. And a new colour or name can take 5 minutes to show.

Questions people ask

Will the button slow down my website?
No. The line loads after your page does. The form itself only loads when someone taps the button.
Will it change my website's fonts or colours?
No. The button is drawn in its own sealed box. Your website's styles can't reach it, and ours can't reach your website.
Which form opens when they tap it?
The one you copied the line from. To show another form, open that form and copy its line instead.
Do couples see bckendIQ's name?
Your studio's name, photo and colours come first on the form. A small Powered by bckendIQ Studio line sits at the bottom. Studio Pro takes it off.

What bckendIQ does

One app, four steps

From the first message to the last payment. Each line is a real studio problem, and what bckendIQ does about it. Read the whole story →

Step 1

Win the client

Every message answered, every quote followed up, and pages that sell your sessions.

  • Every client and message in one place

The problem: Messages arrive by email, forms and WhatsApp, and they are easy to lose.

What bckendIQ does: Each person who asks about a shoot sits on one board, with their emails and WhatsApp in one thread. It runs in your phone’s browser and installs on your home screen like an app.

  • Who to chase, and what to say

The problem: You know you should follow up. Knowing who first, and what to write, is the hard part.

What bckendIQ does: The board ranks who to chase today and says why. AI writes a follow-up email or WhatsApp for that couple. You edit it and send it yourself.

  • Pages that sell mini sessions

The problem: Minis mean a dozen messages per family: which slot, how to pay, and did they pay.

What bckendIQ does: A pop-up is one page for minis or a seasonal weekend. Set how many people fit each time slot. Clients pick a time and pay in full or a deposit on your own Stripe. Or offer a free consultation instead.

  • Know what your ads bring in

The problem: You pay for ads and can’t tell which bookings they brought.

What bckendIQ does: Each pop-up’s Results tab shows visits, each booking step, money taken and who came from ads. Add your Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics or Google Ads ID if you use them.

  • Stay known between bookings

The problem: Past clients forget you between weddings, while big brands email their customers every week.

What bckendIQ does: Send email broadcasts, campaigns and sequences from your own studio, with saved templates and a list of people to reach.
