How reviews work

Reviews run in three steps. The person reviews their own work. Their manager reviews it. Then the owner reviews the result. Each step has its own fields. A review is only done when every step that applies is done.

Three steps, in order

Self, then manager, then owner. They go in order because each step answers the one before it. Nobody writes theirs alone.

Reviews and pay are separate

For staff, a review can shape their pay. For freelancers, treat the review as a record of how the work went. Pay what was earned, on the terms you agreed. See the note on holding back pay in the crew pay article.
