Send an invoice and take payment
Invoices can be issued in full or split into instalments with their own due dates. Clients pay online once you have connected your own Stripe account — the money goes directly to you, and bckendIQ never holds client funds. You can also record payments received by bank transfer or any other method.
Connect your own payment account
Online card payment requires connecting your studio Stripe account. Until you do, invoices still send and can be settled by other means and recorded manually. Payment options are declared per studio, so a client only ever sees the methods you actually accept.
Instalments
A payment plan splits the total across dated instalments — commonly a deposit on booking and a balance before delivery. Each instalment is tracked and chased separately.
Offline payments
When a client tells you they have paid by transfer, that declaration is recorded but is not itself a payment. The receipt goes out when you confirm the money arrived, so a receipt never precedes the funds.
Common questions
Does bckendIQ take a percentage of my client payments?
No. Payments go to your own connected account. bckendIQ charges a subscription and takes no cut of your invoices.
Why can my client only see bank transfer, not card?
Card and wallet payment appears once your studio Stripe account is connected. Until then only the manual methods you have declared are shown.
