Send an invoice and take payment

You can send an invoice in full or split it into part payments with their own due dates. Clients pay online once you connect your own Stripe account. The money goes straight to you. bckendIQ never holds your clients’ money. You can also record payments that came by bank transfer or any other way.

Connect your own Stripe account

Card payment online needs your studio’s Stripe account connected. Until you do, invoices still send. Clients can pay another way and you record it by hand. You choose which ways to pay your studio accepts. A client only ever sees the ways you really take.

Part payments

A payment plan splits the total into dated part payments. Often that is a deposit at booking and the rest before delivery. Each part payment is tracked and chased on its own.

Payments made outside the app

A client can tell you they paid by bank transfer. The app notes that, but it does not count it as paid yet. You confirm the money arrived. Then the receipt goes out. A receipt never goes out before the money.

Common questions

Does bckendIQ take a cut of my client payments?

No. Payments go to your own Stripe account. bckendIQ charges a monthly plan and takes nothing from your invoices.

Why can my client only see bank transfer, not card?

Card and Apple Pay show up once your studio’s Stripe account is connected. Until then, only the ways you have listed by hand are shown.
