An enquiry arrives from your inquiry page or is added by hand, becomes a lead, and moves through your pipeline stages. When you confirm the booking, bckendIQ creates the shoot itself — the date, the project, and the crew slots that shoot needs — in one step. You do not create the shoot separately.
The confirmation is the important moment
Confirming a booking is not just a status change. It opens the shoot on the calendar, creates the project the work will be delivered through, and generates the crew slots the shoot requires. This is why the client record and the crew record never drift apart — they were created by the same action.
Pipeline stages
There are seven stages. You can rename them to match how your studio talks about its work; the underlying stages stay fixed so reporting and automation keep working after a rename.
Quotes, packages and payment plans
Build a quote from packages and services so repeat work does not get re-specified each time. A quote can carry a payment plan, which becomes the instalment schedule on the resulting invoice.
Common questions
Can I move a shoot to a different date after confirming?
Yes. Rescheduling moves the shoot and everything attached to it together, so the invoice and the crew job never end up on different days.
